The NBA schedule makers have been good to Stephen Curry, sending him and his Warriors teammates through Charlotte, N.C., for Thanksgiving last season and giving him a three-day stop in his hometown this season.
“Obviously, just being in Charlotte is always fun,” said Curry, who graduated from Charlotte Christian School and then played at Davidson, 20 miles north of Charlotte. “I don’t get much time here, being on the West Coast, so I always look forward to the time we play the Hornets.”
The point guard watched Davidson play Tuesday, was going to see his father, Dell, be honored at halftime of Wednesday’s game between the unbeaten Warriors and Hornets, and is planning to mix in a round of father-son golf Thursday.
