The Warriors aren't taking any chances with their superstar point guard.
After the team announced that Steph Curry would not play Sunday against the Washington Wizards, Warriors coach Steve Kerr said the two-time NBA MVP's return more likely will come later next week, perhaps even Thursday night against the Toronto Raptors.
Curry will get in some practice with the G League's Santa Cruz Warriors before potentially making his first start at Chase Center since he broke his left hand on Oct. 30 against the Phoenix Suns.

Curry's trainer, Brandon Payne, told NBC Sports Bay Area that lingering nerve issues continue to hinder the Warriors star.
