While Stephen Curry splashes in postseason action, he will simultaneously make a couple of splashes at the box office this spring.
As previously reported, Curry teamed up with actress Viola Davis to produce a documentary about the 2015 Charleston, South Carolina church massacre that left nine people dead.
Emanuel hauntingly tells the story through the perspectives of surviving relatives, journalists, coroners and local authorities of how white supremacist Dylan Roof walked into Emanuel AME Church’s Bible study and murdered nine African-American parishioners.
The film also recounts the forty eight hours after the tragedy as the surviving relatives of the nine victims stood in court facing Roof and offered words of forgiveness in the midst of their grief.
