This week provided a great opportunity for the Warriors to bounce back after their five-game road trip ended with a disappointing loss in Houston. During their three-game homestand Golden State earned double-digit wins over the Knicks and Timberwolves, and a hard-fought victory over the Eastern Conference-leading Celtics.
Steph Curry has returned to his MVP form over the past week with 35.3 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds per game as the Warriors went 3-0. Curry also shot 56.8% from three-point land during this stretch of play where he simply could not miss.
We wrote about how this season may be the best one of his career even though he probably won’t be winning his third MVP award at the end of the year.
