The lost 141-105 to the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night. In the final matchup of a seven-game homestand, the Dubs were once again embarrassed. The Dubs seemed to be returning home with some positive momentum and an opportunity to string together some wins. Instead, they made sure the Chase Center crowd always left disappointed.
The Dubs went just 1-6 during the stretch, barely defeating the historically bad Detroit Pistons for their lone win. If Steve Kerr were nearly any other coach in the league, this stretch would be asking for a firing. With four championship rings, though, the conversation remains more complicated.
