CHICAGO — Warriors guard Stephen Curry has successfully undergone a planned surgery on his broken left hand to remove pins from the initial procedure in November. He will be re-evaluated in February.
The surgery means he is on track for his recovery timeline. If all goes will in February, a month-long rehab process could be followed by his return to the court in March.
Curry has yet to accompany the Warriors on the road since the injury, but plans to begin traveling with the team after the New Year after rehabbing from this second procedure.
The injury occurred in the fourth game of the season, when Phoenix Suns center Aron Baynes fell onto Curry when attempting to draw a foul.
