A trio of Oakland high schoolers thought they'd already peaked when they met Stephen Curry — and then Curry called Kevin Durant.
Darion, Ramon and Sideek, student-athletes at McClymonds High, were invited to guest on the latest episode of Curry's YouTube series, 5 Minutes From Home; Curry has a long-standing relationship with McClymonds and the school's basketball coach, Adrian McCullough.
The teens were chatting with Curry on the way to a food truck in Oakland when Curry dialed up a friend to join the conversation. Sideek is particularly excited to see Durant pop up on FaceTime, exclaiming that KD works out at a practice facility near Sideek's gym.
