Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry has represented for Charlotte, where he spent several years of his childhood, Toronto, where he spent his teen years, and has certainly shown love for Oakland. But recent tweets from President Donald Trump have him defending another post-industrial city with a relatively high population of African-Americans: Baltimore.
Curry responded on Saturday to a series of tweets from Trump in which the president called Baltimore a "rodent infested mess" where "no human being would want to live." Trump's comments came while he attacked Congressman Elijah Cummings, who represents Baltimore in Congress and is an outspoken critic of the president.
