Talent evaluation isn’t an exact science in professional sports, especially when it comes to the NBA.
Warriors rookie Eric Paschall is a prime example, as the Villanova product wasn’t selected until the No. 41 overall pick in last year's draft. All Paschall has done in his first NBA season is average almost 14 points per game and make himself a fringe candidate for Rookie of the Year.
Steph Curry was part of the broadcast of Saturday night’s game against the Orlando Magic, and the veteran had some high praise for Golden State’s most proficient rookie.
"It kind of just speaks to that whole process, you know in terms of really finding talent,” Curry said.
