The love between Oakland-born filmmaker Ryan Coogler and Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry has been evident all this week as both step back into the spotlight.
Curry and his wife Ayesha, along with Warriors teammates Draymond Green and Moses Moody, were spotted at Oakland’s Grand Lake Theatre on Wednesday, one day after the Warriors dispatched the Grizzlies in the NBA play-in game to earn their playoff spot. They were there for a special family-and-friends showing of “Sinners,” Coogler’s first foray into making a horror film.
