Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has been named the Kia NBA Western Conference Player of the Month for games played in October/November, the NBA announced on Wednesday. The reigning MVP led the defending champs to a perfect 19-0 start in the season’s opening month by averaging a league-leading 31.6 points to go with 6.0 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 2.53 steals (second) in 34.4 minutes. Curry, who last won the award in October/November to open the 2014-15 campaign, earned his fourth career monthly honor, giving him more Player of the Month Awards than all other players in Warriors history combined.
