Monta Ellis holds a special place in the hearts of Warriors fans.
Before the Warriors had Steph Curry, Klay Thompson or Draymond Green, Ellis was the homegrown star the fans latched on to. His trade to Milwaukee in 2012 devastated a large portion of the fanbase.
Curry knows what Ellis means to Dub Nation. So, prior to the last regular season game at Oracle on Sunday, Curry arrived at the arena rocking a No. 8 throwback jersey.
