Now under contract through the 2026-27 season, Curry is more clearly tied to the Dubs future. While Curry’s future with Golden State was never a hotly contested talking point, the Warriors inability to return to championship contention over the past two seasons set the stage for some uncomfortable conversations if that continued in 2024-25. During his first media availability of the season last week, Curry was asked about the decision to extend his contract.
