SAN ANTONIO — Despite playing only four games this season, Stephen Curry garnered more votes than any Warriors player in the NBA’s All-Star voting first returns.
The NBA today released the top 10 frontcourt players and guards for each conference. Curry (191,149 votes) finished fourth among guards in the Western Conference and D’Angelo Russell (122,499) finished sixth.
Curry averaged 20.3 points, 6.5 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game before suffering a broken left hand in Golden State’s Oct. 30 loss to the Suns. He will be re-evaluated in February but won’t return until well past the All-Star break.
