Much ink was spilled over the Golden State Warriors’ offseason. Was enough done to get Stephen Curry and Draymond Green (and eventually, Klay Thompson) the kind of reinforcements needed to make a deep playoff push? Heck, would the Warriors even be in a position to make the postseason? After all, the offseason amounted to five mostly-not-regrettable departures (Eric Paschall, Mychal Mulder, Kent Bazemore, Kelly Oubre Jr., Alen Smailagic) and five vet-min-or-rookie additions (Otto Porter Jr., Nemanja Bjelica, Andre Iguodala, Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody), with several high-profile free agents spurning the Dubs to sign elsewhere. I must confess, I was one of those who were quite skeptical.
