The Oklahoma City Thunder will sign veteran center Nazr Mohammed on Saturday to a contract for the remainder of the season, league sources told The Vertical.
Mohammed, a 17-year NBA veteran, returns to the franchise for which he played parts of two seasons from 2010-12. Mohammed was part of the Thunder team that reached the 2012 NBA Finals, playing a backup center role.
Mohammed spent the past three seasons with the Chicago Bulls but hadn't played in the NBA this season, continuing to train and leaving the door open to a return to the NBA.
