OAKLAND, Calif. -- Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr will travel separate from the team to China Sunday due to a passport processing delay, league sources tell ESPN.
There was a batch of passports that were delayed, at no fault of the Warriors or Kerr, in being transported back to the team from the East Coast processing center, sources say.
No players were affected, sources say. Kerr will take a commercial flight later Sunday.
Players were made aware of Kerr's dilemma on Saturday after the team's 108-102 loss to the Denver Nuggets, sources say.
