MINNEAPOLIS — With a grueling weekend back-to-back in Minnesota and San Antonio on Friday and Saturday night, there was thought that Steve Kerr may rest his main guys.
He may still in San Antonio. But on the front end, against the Timberwolves, it seems that only backup point guard Shaun Livingston will get the night off. Everyone else, besides the injured Kevin Durant, is expected to play.
Livingston’s rest day comes after some recent struggles. In four March games, Livingston has accumulated just five points on 2-of-15 shooting in 64 minutes.
But without him, the Warriors — who recently released Briante Weber and opted for Matt Barnes over Jose Calderon in the buyout market — do not have a third string point guard.
