Warriors owner Joe Lacob is not exactly my type of guy. He has billions of dollars and made most of them working in venture capital. Two quick strikes. He has famously bragged about his franchise’s strategic genius, which was mostly just having the good fortune to draft Steph Curry and sign Kevin Durant, and when he did begin truly meddling in team-building, the results were disastrous. Another batter is trotting out of the dugout.
But you could grade Lacob on two curves: the entire human race or the subset of creatures who own American sports teams.
