The Santa Cruz Warriors (2-4) failed to start their 5-game road trip off strong, losing 100-84 to the Reno Bighorns (2-5) on Sunday night. They hit the road to New York to play the Westchester Knicks (4-1) in a Wednesday morning matchup.
Elgin Cook was incredibly impressive off the bench for Santa Cruz, leading all scorers with 27 points on 10-for-16 shooting. He added four rebounds, one steal and three blocks, as well. Cameron Jones also scored in double-digits, tallying 16 points, five rebounds, and five assists.
Scott Wood had a great shooting night for the Warriors, dropping in 12 points and five rebounds on 4-for-6 shooting from the field, 4-for-5 from behind the arc.
