The Santa Cruz Warriors remain over .500 on the season after defeating the Texas Legends 113-108 in overtime at Kaiser Permanente Arena on Saturday. This was the Warriors’ second game on a back-to-back homestand against Texas, losing the first one 115-108.
Elliot Williams led all scorers, matching his season-high 33 points to go along with his eight assists. Darington Hobson returned to the team after being out the past few games, making his presence known with 22 points and eight rebounds. Verdell Jones III matched Hobson for 22 points on the night.
Jamil Wilson was the leading scorer for the Legends, scoring 19 points for the visiting team.
