SAN FRANCISCO — Chase Center’s debut basketball game was met with a slightly dilapidated Warriors team.
Sure, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and D’Angelo Russell (with Klay Thompson to come later) will usher in the billion-dollar arena with a near-$500 million core. But the sacrifices taken to retain its essential pieces left the supporting cast in unfamiliar flux.

In place of that familiar dynastic consistency, the Warriors are trying to rediscover its groove and identify players that can fill gaps and centers to back up the flurry of injured ones lining their bench.
