Rookie Paschall’s multi-layered offense a bright spot for Warriors in loss

SAN FRANCISCO — Heading into the draft, Eric Paschall believed that he could get a decent amount of playing time as a rookie, albeit nothing major. But with the Golden State Warriors gutted by a litany of injuries, Paschall will assume the responsibility of taking on big-time minutes.

After Saturday night, he might just become a focal point of the offense, too.

Paschall balled out in Golden State’s 93-87 loss to the Charlotte Hornets, dropping a career-high 25 points along with four rebounds and two assists in 34 minutes. He becomes the first Warriors rookie to score 25 points in a game since Chris Wright in 2012.
