I can still remember listening to that first interview with Kevon Looney. It was the morning after the W’s drafted him in 2015. In fact, I can still remember the bend in Hwy 1 in West Marin where I pulled over to give myself the best chance of maintaining good reception.
There was just something about the guy. His humility and common sense and quiet intelligence and self-awareness (even then). He fell to 30 in that draft. All the talk/reservations were about his hips. He might need a major procedure. He might not be ready for a while.
