Rewind: Warriors 'might as well' break record Tuesday vs Lakers

Most NBA teams have spent the first month of the season going over scouting reports that can aid their attempts to beat an opponent. The Warriors don’t stop there. They also compete with their own perceived standard.

Memo the NBA: The Warriors are unbeaten without having met that standard.

After a laying a 118-105 lesson on the Nuggets Sunday night in Denver, the Warriors are 15-0, matching the all-time record for best start by an NBA team. It’s a fabulous achievement. It’s a splendid chapter of league history.

“It’s a huge accomplishment, coming off a championship and taking care of business 15 straight times to start the season,” Steph Curry said in the winning locker room at Pepsi Center.
