OKLAHOMA CITY – They shot multiple air balls, missed multiple layups. They defended with leisure and shot with abandon. And they were, in the end, demolished.
The Warriors trudged out of Chesapeake Energy Arena late Sunday with welts all about their backsides after a 133-105 lashing by the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.
They’re back in a familiar place, down 2-1 in this best-of-seven series – just as they were in the NBA Finals against Cleveland last season and, two weeks before that, the Western Conference Semifinals against Memphis.
