The Warriors, for most of the game, didn’t shoot well. Didn’t matter. They didn’t take care of the ball at all. Didn’t matter. They were beaten on the glass. Didn’t matter.
Didn’t matter because the Warriors have Steph Curry and a devotion to defense. Curry and defense saves leads, saves games and on Wednesday night saved the Warriors from too many moments when they were at their worst.
Their 100-84 win over the Grizzlies on Wednesday night was not a memorable performance by any means. It did, however, exhibit their resources and serve as a textbook application of superior talent, perseverance and creativity.
