The Golden State Warriors traded D'Angelo Russell to the Minnesota Timberolves ahead of the NBA trade deadline Thursday, a move that took many by surprise since it was previously reported that trade talks had broken down, and the Warriors remained adamant they saw Russell as a long-term piece.
