The Charlotte Hornets have reportedly agreed to a four-year deal with Golden State Warriors assistant Kenny Atkinson to be their new head coach, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium first reported the sides were nearing an agreement.

The Athletic's Charania and Sam Amick reported on June 3 that Atkinson had "emerged as a front-runner" for the position and had a scheduled meeting with team officials, including owner Michael Jordan.
