Three-time NBA champion Andre Iguodala — a cornerstone of the Golden State Warriors dynasty — looks like he's found himself in a staring contest with the Memphis Grizzlies, and they've got no intention of blinking.
Citing sources on Monday afternoon, The Athletic's Shams Charania said Memphis is refusing to buy out the 2015 NBA Finals MVP and wants Iguodala to report to camp.
Charania went on to say many expected the Grizzlies to buy out the former NBA Finals MVP after receiving a 2024 first round draft pick and buying out Dwight Howard, but — at least currently — that appears to not be the case.
