Mike Shumann, KGO-TV sports anchor, was called home from San Antonio by the station last week after being caught on video taking a jacket belonging to a Golden State Warriors official after a Warriors practice, The Athletic is reporting.
A KGO spokesperson told The Athletic: “We are taking these allegations very seriously and conducting a full investigation. As a matter of policy, we do not comment about personnel matters.”
The jacket belonged to Ralph Walker, the director of team security. Warriors assistant coach Jarron Collins reportedly recorded Shumann, who has been covering the Warriors-Spurs playoff series, taking the jacket.
