When Kevin Durant was injured against the Washington Wizards, it sent the Golden State Warriors into a brief tailspin of sorts. The team lost four out of six games and they even briefly dropped out of the top seed in the Western Conference.
The adjustment period ended up being very real for the Warriors. Even worse, it came during a stretch when Stephen Curry was ice cold shooting the basketball and looked like just another man out there on the floor with the ball in his hands.
Since then, the Warriors have managed to win five games in a row and four straight in blowout fashion.
