No matter how you slice it, the Patrick McCaw drama is weird for the Golden State Warriors. And, as Steve Kerr noted at Saturday’s shootaround, it’s not a situation that the team was anticipating being in.
And, apparently, it’s not a situation owner Joe Lacob is too pleased about. According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Lacob is “a bit ticked off.” Here’s an excerpt from Slater’s exceptional article about the entire situation:
