Report: David Lee 'expected to sign' with Mavericks

Less than 24 hours after being waived by the Boston Celtics, it looks like David Lee will have a new home soon.

The former Warriors forward is expected to sign with the Dallas Mavericks after he clears waivers on Sunday, according to Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania.

The deal is expected to be for the prorated NBA room exception $2.1 million.

Lee was waived by Boston on Friday afternoon. The Celtics couldn't find a team will to take Lee in the weeks leading up to this past Thursday's trade deadline.
