Andre Iguodala, who won four NBA championships with the Golden State Warriors before announcing his retirement in October, will serve as the interim executive director of the National Basketball Players' Association.
The Athletic's Shams Charania, Sportico's Scott Soshnick and ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported the news.
Iguodala will take over for Tamika Tremaglio, who has led the players' association since January 2022, "on an interim basis," per Soshnick.
Wojnarowski reported the NBPA will now begin a "formal search" for a permanent executive director.
