The defense was definitely in preseason form as the Golden State Warriors dropped their second game of the year 118-101 to the Portland Trailblazers.
Behind Stephen Curry’s 12 first quarter points, the Warriors managed to score 32 points in the opening period in Portland. They found themselves in a hole though as the Blazers scored 38 with Damian Lillard and Allen Crabbe providing 7 points each in the 1st. On the bright side, it doesn’t seem as if Draymond Green has lost his fire. The forward picked up a technical foul several minutes into the first quarter.
The second quarter was worse defensively for Golden State as Portland continued to fire away, outscoring the Warriors 39-30.
