With Klay Thompson not playing Wednesday, the Raptors made sure Oracle fans still got to see jaw-dropping shooting displays by a backcourt tandem in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday.
Toronto’s tandem of Kyle Lowry and Danny Green combined for 11 of their team’s 17 3-pointers and 41 points to help overcome Stephen Curry’s one-man show in the Raptors’ 123-109 victory.
The Splash Brothers of the North, if you will.
Curry was dazzling with 47 points, the most he’s ever scored in an NBA Finals game. He was operating without fellow Splash Brother Thompson, who was declared out right before the game with a strained hamstring.
