ALAMEDA, Calif. -- Oakland Raiders coach Jack Del Rio is an East Bay guy through and through. He grew up in nearby Hayward, in the shadow of the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum and Oracle Arena, and remains a big fan of the Golden State Warriors.
So excuse Del Rio for his “oh my” clap back of Cleveland Cavaliers guard JR Smith’s assertion that the defending NBA champs merely need to play their game to successfully defend their title. The Warriors lead the NBA Finals 1-0 entering Game 2 on Sunday.
Here’s what Smith said Saturday: “Watching basketball throughout the course of the season, you obviously know [the Warriors are] very good.
