After a regular season (particularly the final month) of inconsistent focus, the W’s, on cue, have begun their playoff run towards a repeat championship with three remarkably consistent—one might even say formulaically predictable—wins over the overmatched (and miss-shooting) San Antonio Spurs.

“It all begins with defense,” each player and coach associated with W’s intones in unison.

And it’s true.
