Game 2 against the resurgent Memphis Grizzlies was the only game this season where the Warriors shot under 42% from the field, shot under 25% from behind the three-point arc and had 20 or more turnovers. For a team that thrives on creating good shots with ball movement, it was a nightmare scenario and a strong contender for the worst of the year. The Grizzlies deserve credit for throwing a Tony Allen-sized wrench in the Warriors’ offense. But the Warriors also didn’t do themselves any favors with their loose execution and reversion away from their motion offense.
