In a rematch of last Saturday’s game (with a change in venue from Las Vegas to San Diego), the Golden State Warriors again triumphed over the Los Angeles Lakers, never trailing in a wire-to-wire 123-112 victory that brings their preseason record to 5-1. The Dubs opened the game on a tear before falling back to earth, seemingly bored with the token resistance put up by the overmatched Lakers. After frittering away a large lead, the Warriors woke up again and eventually put the game to bed.
Klay Thompson’s play, in particular his passing, was a delight to watch.
