OAKLAND – As was the case for starting forward Harrison Barnes, the Warriors also did not reach agreement on a contract extension for reserve center Festus Ezeli, the team announced Monday morning.
The Warriors and Ezeli’s agent, Bill Duffy of Walnut Creek, had until 9 p.m. Monday night to strike a deal before the league-imposed deadline takes effect.
Both sides engaged negotiations and talked dollar figures before deciding there would be no extension.
