The Australian company behind a new mini-golf bar and restaurant set to open later this month once sued Steph Curry’s media company for copyright infringement over the name of a reality sports competition on ABC.
Unanimous Media LLC, which lists the Golden State Warriors star as a co-founder and co-CEO, was named in a 2019 copyright lawsuit over the name “Holey Moley.” For Steph Curry fans, and an estimated 4.87 million American television viewers, it’s the name of the four-season ABC reality mini-golf competition where participants face off on oversized courses, with obstacle courses throughout, for cash prizes.
