While it seems unlikely the Golden State Warriors make a blockbuster trade, there are several reasons why they should consider trading Draymond Green, one of their original Big 3 members, prior to the NBA trade deadline on February 7.
For starters, Green is having one of his worst professional seasons. He’s shooting under 25% from downtown and has struggled to find a rhythm within the offense. His inability to shoot from deep oftentimes stagnates the Warriors’ dynamic offense.
The return of DeMarcus Cousins will lessen the blow of Green’s poor shooting, but it won’t cancel it out all the way.
