Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr reportedly "fought" to keep the team's core together amid pressure from the front office to shake up the roster before last season.
Ramona Shelburne and Kendra Andrews of ESPN reported Warriors brass was ready to make major moves following the team's second-round loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2023 playoffs. However, Kerr and members of the roster pushed back against making moves, and the Warriors essentially played out the 2023-24 season with their roster intact.
