NBA legend weighs in on missed Kevin Durant call

NBA legend Scottie Pippen was one of several major figures in the professional basketball world with harsh critiques of the officiating team who missed an out-of-bounds call on Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant during the Warriors' 135-134 overtime loss to the Houston Rockets on Thursday.

In the non-call that had spectators up in arms Thursday night, Durant takes three steps out of bounds, catches the ball while still out of bounds and throws it back onto the court. But there was no whistle from the refs.

Rockets guard Chris Paul and the team's general manager, Daryl Morey, called out the refs by comparing them to the #BirdBoxChallenge that has people carrying out their daily lives while wearing a blindfold as inspired by the Netflix film "Bird Box.
