NBA Finals: Iguodala’s moment of redemption against LeBron

CLEVELAND — The Block has been replayed over and over and over again in the past year.

Google it. There’s even a Wikipedia page.

With Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals tied at 89 with under two minutes to go, the Warriors’ Andre Iguodala was streaking for a layup when the Cavaliers’ LeBron James chased him down from behind for the block that, along with Kyrie Irving’s dagger 3-pointer, served as the defining plays in ending Cleveland’s 52-year drought without a professional sports title.

The Cavaliers are highly unlikely to repeat and one reason why is a role reversal during Wednesday’s 118-113 comeback Warriors victory in Game 3.
