CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Steph Curry didn’t win the 3-point shooting competition on Saturday night, but he beat his little brother Seth.
And he wasn’t the MVP of the All-Star Game held in his hometown Sunday in a 178-164 loss to “Team LeBron.” But he lured teammate-turned-opponent Klay Thompson into committing a foul on a 3-pointer that was turned into a four-point play.
All in all, that made for a terrific ending to a great homecoming.
The play happened with nine minutes and 18 seconds left in the fourth quarter, allowing Curry’s Team Giannis to pull within 144-139 of Thompson’s Team LeBron.
