NBA 3-point contest: Stephen Curry finishes in second place

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — So much for the storybook ending.

Stephen Curry finished in second place in the NBA 3-point contest (24) behind Brooklyn’s Joe Harris (26). Curry and his brother Seth did not have their head-to-head matchup championship round as they had hoped.

Curry made his first nine shots in the championship round, but he missed three of five shots on the third rack. This marked the second time Curry lost in the 3-point contest. After winning the 3-point contest in 2015, Curry fell behind teammate Klay Thompson the following year.

Seth was eliminated in the second round after scoring 16.
