The Golden State Warriors will attempt to stop the bleeding on Friday night when they kick off a four-game road trip with a game against the Chicago Bulls. Unfortunately, the Dubs have been dealt a blow before the game even starts: third-year guard Moses Moody will not be playing in the game.
Moody injured his calf during Wednesday’s embarrassing blowout loss to the New Orleans Pelicans, and had an MRI after the game. Coach Steve Kerr assured reporters that Moody told him the injury wasn’t serious, but when Thursday’s injury report came out, Moody was already listed as not available (hat tip to The Athletic’s Anthony Slater for first noticing this).
